Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced, and motivated Litigation Legal Assistant to join our personal injury and mass tort team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in various legal tasks, including propounding and responding to discovery, draft pleadings, draft correspondence, conducting legal research, calendaring, and managing case files. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced litigation environment. Knowledge of personal injury and/or mass tort is highly favored.

Duties :

• Draft and file legal documents, including discovery responses, pleadings, correspondence, and motion.
• Organize and maintain case files.
• Assist attorneys during client interviews and prepare discovery documents.
• Communicate with clients via phone and email while maintaining professional phone etiquette.
• Coordinate schedules for court appearances, meetings, and deadlines.

Skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience in handling discovery responses.
• Proficient in legal research techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with Clio or similar document management software is preferred.
• Excellent administrative skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to conduct interviews professionally and gather relevant information efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
