GENERAL FUNCTION:

Provide leadership in the pitching and execution of capital-raising transactions while supporting the DCM Managing Directors in managing the team's Associates and Analysts. Ensure appropriate resource allocation and focus on high-priority projects. The Principal, DCM Origination, will oversee modeling and analytical capabilities, create high-impact pitch materials, and manage the execution and closing of loan transactions.

Responsible for risk management by adhering to policies, raising concerns, and ensuring actions drive a positive customer experience. Operate within the Bank's risk appetite, and identify, assess, and report risks effectively.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evaluate complex financial models.
• Perform detailed financial analysis.
• Create presentation materials using PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other software.
• Work effectively in a team under high stress.
• Build relationships within Capital Markets and across the organization.
• Manage multiple high-priority opportunities simultaneously.
• Apply credit and corporate finance knowledge to DCM transactions.
• Support Managing Directors in presentations and transaction processes.
• Interact independently with key stakeholders during loan transactions.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise DCM Origination Associates and Analysts, provide performance feedback, develop talent, and ensure succession planning and employee recognition.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• 7-10 years in Investment Banking or Capital Markets.
• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA preferred.
• Strong credit underwriting skills.
• Proven success in originating and closing complex financial transactions.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Ability to interact with senior executives.
• Industry expertise.
• Licenses: SIE, Series 79 and 63.
