What would you do as a Veterans Directed Care Specialist (Non-Clinical)

As a new Veterans Directed Care Specialist (Non-Clinical), you can expect a rewarding day-to-day experience focused on delivering exceptional support to our veterans. Your schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a structured approach to your responsibilities. Each day, you will engage with veterans, helping them understand and navigate the Home Community Based Services available to them.

You will utilize your technology skills to manage program data, ensuring that each veteran receives the tailored care they deserve. Daily tasks will include conducting assessments, coordinating with healthcare providers, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, you will collaborate with team members to solve problems and improve services, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
