Wellspring has an opening for a part-time, 20 hour per week Tutor and Mentor to proctor and provide academic support for our new Adolescent Intensive Program. **This is a 12 month position**

Wellspring and Arch Bridge School aims to provide a safe and supportive environment for young adult women and adolescent girls to overcome mental health and emotional difficulties. Our Adolescent Intensive Program (AIP) will provide more focused clinical work while students are able to continue their education through an online learning platform.

AIP Mentor Responsibilities:

• Support students in a classroom for 2 hours, after typical school hours, with both academic questions and help with time management.
• Provide support with other possible executive function needs.
• Document student progress daily and report out to families and team members on a regular basis.
• Train and support the online academic program.
• Meet regularly with the Director of Education to review student cases.

Requirements

• Teaching Certification
• Experience with emotional disabilities and learning differences and a therapeutic school environment ( preferred ).
• A strong commitment to teaching.
• The ability to work hard individually and as part of a team.
• An interest in developing new skills, or enhancing existing ones, while working with students with challenging educational and behavioral/emotional scenarios.
