Position Summary

We are seeking a Medical Dosimetrist to join a radiation oncology team and support the planning and delivery of patient-specific treatment plans for both external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) and brachytherapy . This position requires strong technical expertise in radiation physics, dose calculation, and collaborative treatment design with the clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, generate, and verify radiation treatment plans in collaboration with oncologists and physicists
• Perform accurate dose calculations and documentation in patient records
• Support quality assurance procedures and equipment calibration
• Guide radiation therapists on treatment setup, field arrangements, and beam modifiers
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to support patient care planning
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations
• Maintain clinical competency through continuing education
• Supervise daily dosimetry operations and respond to treatment-related inquiries

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Certified by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical dosimetry
• Proficiency with Pinnacle , MOSAIQ , and related treatment planning systems
• Strong foundation in math, physics, anatomy, and radiobiology
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
