GENERAL FUNCTION

At Target Optical, we live to make our Guests Happy by making it simple and fun, to see great and look great. The Store Manager leads a high-performing team to deliver an exceptional guest experience while meeting all brand goals and commitments.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure Team Members deliver outstanding guest experiences by modeling and coaching the playground rules, and ensuring the store and team are Guest Ready. Develop clear action plans for team members' immediate and future development and hold them accountable. Provide timely, motivating, and developmental feedback. Create a culture of being Simple, Fun, and In-style. Conduct annual performance reviews and monthly coaching conversations. Understand key success drivers within the business and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop professional relationships with the Target Optical doctor and Target Host, collaborating on strategies to grow the business. Recruit top talent and maintain a pool of potential applicants. Create work schedules based on business trends, forecast, and traffic, and adjust as needed. Handle payroll, new hire paperwork, and personnel changes. Manage store's shrink percentage and conduct physical inventory twice per year. Complete monthly store visit forms and ensure adherence to operating policies, merchandising, and store presentation standards. Ensure accurate sales transactions and effective utilization of sales strategies and resources.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 3+ years experience in customer service or retail Entrepreneurial mindset Drive for results Critical thinking skills Experience in recruiting, selection, and talent development Selling skills Ability to motivate and influence others

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
