As a Supply Chain Fleet Manager in your market, you will lead all fleet operations supporting the vehicle lifecycle. This includes managing the Fleet Operations team, vendor relationships, and ensuring our vehicles are safe, clean, and capable of delivering an exceptional member experience. Responsibilities include adjusting fleet size based on demand, overseeing vehicle upkeep, and managing repair processes. What you'll do: Partner with Operations leadership to align on strategic goals and initiatives, leading the local team to achieve business objectives and improve member satisfaction (NPS). Manage the process of in-fleeting and de-fleeting vehicles. Maintain fleet costs within the market budget. Negotiate and manage vendor service contracts to ensure vehicles are properly maintained, repaired, and cleaned to Zipcar's standards. Collaborate with functional teams to support performance and process improvements. Hire, train, and develop fleet management staff, including performance management, succession planning, goal setting, and conducting performance reviews. What you'll love about being a Zipster in Operations: Working with talented, passionate colleagues across various teams who bring their authentic selves to work. Being part of a company that is large enough to achieve big things but small enough for you to make a significant impact. Having a direct impact on the company's growth and profitability. What drives success for this role: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. 4-5 years of operations or fleet management experience, preferably in rental or car-sharing services. Experience managing operations for a complex fleet organization. Ability to identify and resolve problems promptly, analyze information effectively, and maintain confidentiality. Proven ability to assess staffing needs and hire key personnel. Experience tracking operational improvements and ensuring sustainable, organization-wide benefits. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record per company standards. What tops off the tank: Annual compensation ranging from $65,000 to $80,000. Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance. Generous paid time off, including holidays, vacation, personal, sick, volunteer, and parental leave. Tax-free benefits for public transportation or parking. Bicycle reimbursement program. 401(k) plan with company matching. Free Zipcar membership and employee discounts on rentals and purchases. Opportunities for community involvement. Who are we? Zipcar is the world's leading car-sharing network, operating in over 500 cities and towns across urban areas and university campuses. Our team is smart, creative, and fun, driven by a mission to enable simple and responsible urban living. The extra mile: We encourage Zipsters to bring their whole selves to work—diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and identities. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer—M/F/D/V.
