CoWorx is looking for Spray Booth Operators in the Biddeford, ME area!
As a Spray Booth Operator, you’ll help start up, operate, and continuously improve our state-of-the-art spray system. You'll be applying thermal spray, metal, and ceramic coatings to build sputter targets for cutting-edge industries like glass, PV, electronics, and displays.
This is a full-time, performance-to-hire position on the 1st shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) with compensation ranging from $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Apply thermal spray coatings (wire and powder) to backing tubes and plates
• Operate and maintain spray and ancillary equipment
• Contribute ideas for process improvements and take initiative in implementation
• Participate in safety, quality, and traceability systems
• Understand chemical properties and reactions in the work area

Desired Background/Skills:

• 1+ years of verifiable experience in a relevant position (CNC, welding, machining, etc.)(preferred)
• Experience with plasma and wire spray systems preferred
• Strong understanding of shop math, GD, and print reading
• Ability to read mechanical drawings
• Proficient with power tools and measuring instruments
• Must be detail-oriented and able to follow safety and manufacturing procedures
• High school diploma or GED required
