Bally's also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas at the site of the former Tropicana Las Vegas. The Role: Processes transactions of betting slips in accordance with governing regulations. Transactions include, but are not limited to, the selling/cashing of tickets, make change, cash checks, and redemption of tickets. Responsibilities: Creates wagering tickets and cashes tickets for guests. Collects appropriate amount of money from the guest for wagers and makes the correct change. Verifies and balances drawer funds at beginning and end of shift. Safeguards funds. Maintains assigned window in a neat, organized, and professional manner. Maintains knowledge of property information, including marketing promotions. Provides superior guest service to all guests. Removes, records, and turns in amount of cash in register at end of shift, with necessary paperwork. Qualifications: Previous money handling and guest service experiences preferred. Must know and comply with requirements of Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act as pertains to Credit/Cage transactions. Data entry skills preferred. A Colorado Division of Gaming Support license is required for this position. Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to exercise initiative and a sense of urgency. Exceptionally self-motivated and directed. Must have an outgoing personality and enjoy dealing with people. Strong tactical skills. Must possess excellent communication, organizational and analytical skills. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all employees and guests. Able to work all shifts to include weekends and holidays also work 6-day work weeks when required. Target Salary Range: $17.05 per hour, plus tips. Guaranteed $22.00 per hour.
