Key Responsibilities:Operations ManagementOversee all administrative and clinical functions within the oral and cosmetic surgery divisionEnsure efficient scheduling, patient flow, and treatment planning coordinationManage inventory and ordering of surgical supplies and equipmentCoordinate with front desk staff to ensure accurate billing, coding, and insurance processingMaintain accurate records for credentialing, licensure, and continuing education of surgical staffLeadership & Staff ManagementSupervise and support oral and cosmetic surgery staff including surgical assistants and coordinatorsConduct regular team meetings to promote communication, efficiency, and moraleProvide onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actionsMonitor staffing levels and coordinate hiring with HR when necessaryCompliance & Quality ControlEnsure all protocols follow OSHA, HIPAA, and state dental board regulationsMaintain a clean, safe, and sterile environment per infection control standardsMonitor documentation, consent forms, and EMR accuracyCoordinate inspections, audits, and regulatory requirementsPatient Experience & CommunicationPromote a compassionate and responsive patient care cultureResolve patient complaints and service issues quickly and professionallyCollaborate with marketing and patient education teams for growth and retentionSupport patient financial consultation processes in collaboration with billingBusiness Development & ReportingTrack KPIs including surgical volume, revenue, case acceptance rate, and efficiencyCollaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for service expansionPrepare and present regular reports on division performance and improvement strategiesParticipate in strategic planning and budgeting for the oral and cosmetic surgery divisionQualifications:Required:Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field3+ years of management experience in a dental, oral surgery, or healthcare settingKnowledge of oral/maxillofacial surgery workflows and terminologyProficient with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, or equivalent)Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skillsPreferred:Certification in Practice Management (e.g., CMOM, FAADOM, or equivalent)Experience working in a multidisciplinary practice or medspa environmentFamiliarity with surgical billing, CDT codes, and patient financing optionsWorking Conditions:Fast-paced surgical practice with regular patient interactionsMay require occasional weekend or extended hours based on operational needsRole may involve lifting surgical supplies and standing for long periods during clinic hours
