Job Description: Office Clerk
Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Office Clerk to join our administrative team. The Office Clerk will perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the office. This role is integral in supporting team members and maintaining smooth workflow processes.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Administrative Support: Perform general office duties, including data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning, and maintaining office supplies.
+ Communication: Answer and direct phone calls or emails to the appropriate parties while offering excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders (Source: RH Acronym Guide.docx).
+ Recordkeeping: Maintain and update accurate records, databases, and documentation (Source: RH Acronym Guide.docx, PDQ).
+ Scheduling & Coordination: Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements, as well as coordinating logistics for events and projects.
+ Document Preparation: Draft, format, and proofread documents, reports, and correspondence to maintain professional standards.
+ Support Team Operations: Assist with special tasks or ad hoc projects to support team priorities and initiatives, ensuring deadlines are met.
+ Compliance: Ensure that all processes align with office policies, confidentiality requirements, and any legal or regulatory guidelines.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications:
+ Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
+ Experience: Previous experience in an office support, administrative, or clerical role preferred.
+ Technology: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other office equipment (printers, scanners).
+ Organization: Strong ability to prioritize, multitask, and maintain exceptional attention to detail.
+ Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with team members and maintain a proactive, helpful attitude.
+ Problem-solving: Demonstrates resourcefulness and a solution-oriented approach to challenges.
