GENERAL FUNCTION

The Licensed Target Store Manager aims to make guests happy by providing a fun and straightforward experience to see and look great. This role involves leading a team of high-performing team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences and meet all brand goals and commitments.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure team members deliver outstanding guest experiences by modeling and coaching store rules. Set expectations for store readiness and guest service excellence. Manage floor flow and serve as a caretaker for guests and team members. Develop clear action plans for team members' immediate and future growth. Hold team members accountable to their commitments and provide timely feedback. Create a culture of simplicity, fun, and style. Conduct annual performance reviews and monthly coaching sessions. Understand key success factors and identify opportunities for improvement. Build professional relationships with optical doctors and target store teams to enhance business performance. Recruit top talent and maintain a pool of potential candidates. Develop staffing schedules based on business trends and traffic forecasts. Manage payroll, new hires, and personnel changes. Monitor and control store shrinkage, conduct physical inventories, and complete store visit reports. Ensure adherence to operational policies, merchandising, and promotional activities. Accurately complete sales transactions and utilize sales strategies and resources.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Opticianry license or ABO certification as required by state law At least 3 years of experience in customer service or retail Experience in recruiting, selecting, and developing talent Strong selling skills and ability to motivate and influence others

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Over 3 years of management or supervisory experience Pay Range: $32.35 - $57.85 Compensation is influenced by factors such as location, experience, skills, and qualifications. Benefits may include health care, retirement plans, paid time off, and employee discounts. Additional bonus or commission plans may also be offered.
