Our client seeking an experienced EHS Manager to oversee and implement environmental, health, and safety programs across our operations in South Sioux City. This is a critical leadership role—ideal for a hands-on, proactive safety professional who thrives in a dynamic industrial environment.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities:

✅ Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations
• Conduct internal audits and maintain documentation for regulatory standards.

🚨 Incident Investigation & Prevention

• Lead investigations of injuries, near misses, and property damage.
• Identify root causes and coordinate corrective action plans.

🏗️ Facility Safety & Inspections

• Perform regular site inspections and hazard monitoring.
• Ensure proper functionality of safety equipment.

🌱 Environmental Leadership

• Manage waste programs, chemical handling, and pollution mitigation.
• Oversee stormwater (SWPPP), hazardous waste, and SPCC plans.

📢 Safety Culture & Training

• Promote a culture of safety and compliance across all departments.
• Deliver training for OSHA-regulated topics (Fall Protection, Confined Space, PIV, etc.).

🤝 Contractor Oversight

• Manage on-site contractor safety performance and compliance.
• Conduct documented safety audits.

✅ What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of EHS leadership in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and relevant EHS regulations.
• Bachelor’s in Safety, Environmental Science, or Industrial Hygiene (preferred).
• CSP or equivalent certifications a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.
• Strong conflict resolution, analytical, and communication skills.
