• 8-10 years of experience in C++
• Simulation software development experience
• Bachelor's Degree
• Prior experience with Hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems (Hardware & Software Integration and testing)
○ C++ running on top of Linux Kernel
• Experience in real-time software generation, with hands-on experience related to hardware testing and/or
embedded systems and/or a simulation systems is required.
Nice to Have Skills and Experience
• Master's Degree
• FPGA interface experience (Field-Programmable Gate Arrays)
• Python experience
• Git/GitLab experience
Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team 5 days onsite in Grand Prairie Texas. Candidates will work a 4/10s schedule running the first shift. Candidates must have an active secret clearance and have a strong background in C++ and computer networking. Experience handling Man in the Middle attacks and working with Hardware-in-the-loop systems is desired.

Compensation:
$80/hr to $90/hr.
