This role plays a key part in organizing, tracking, and coordinating cybersecurity projects, including those related to Arizonas Cyber Command. This is a hybrid role with quarterly in-office meetings in Phoenix, AZ . Only candidates currently residing in Arizona will be considered. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and track progress across cybersecurity projects (AZSOC, GRC, Engineering) Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders Maintain project documentation, workflows, and task trackers Support reporting and compliance for grant-funded projects like the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP) Organize and lead meetings, workshops, and briefings (in-person, hybrid, and virtual) Monitor deliverables and ensure adherence to project timelines and grant requirements Prepare reports, executive summaries, and maintain organized project files Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of experience in project coordination or program support Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized with excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Proficiency with Google Suite, Excel, and presentation tools Experience working independently and collaboratively Familiarity with information security terms and documentation practices Experience using cloud-based file sharing tools (e.g., Google Drive, SharePoint) Qualifications Associate or Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) Experience working with state or federal grant-funded projects Exposure to cybersecurity or information technology projects Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Lean methodologies Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or Lucidchart CAPM, PMP, or related project management certification Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to support tasks Eligibility Requirements U.S. only No visa sponsorship available Local candidates only Must currently reside in Arizona Must be available for in-person interviews within 1 week of posting close Must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer Location: Arizona Department of Homeland Security 1802 West Jackson Street, Suite #100 Phoenix, AZ 85007 Flexible work from home options available. #J-18808-Ljbffr ZipRecruiter
