Prepare and review quarterly accounting and reporting packages, including entity-level financial statements and regulatory reports for investment companies. Prepare and review monthly and ad hoc reporting requests, including funding requests, cash flow analysis, financial reporting related requests, and regulatory reporting request (Federal and SEC requests). Requires: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Accounting, Business Administration with Accounting concentration, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related Financial Accounting role. Employer will accept bachelor's degree equivalent based on single degree, combination of degrees, certifications and or examinations, or a combination of degree(s) and professional work experience, where determined to be equivalent to U.S. bachelor's degree by a qualified credential evaluation service. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience in each of the following: working in granular, journal entry-based accounting, including experience preparing and/or reviewing journal entries to record business transactions; deriving ad hoc reporting required by end-users varying from traditional financial reporting but based on gathered financial data; working with a variety of General Ledger and Financial Reporting platforms, including experience importing information from outside systems, as well as preparing output to end-user systems; using GAAP and applying GAAP research provided during the course of collaborative research efforts related to financial reporting for investments, including but not limited to areas related to revenue recognition, loan and interest accounting, as well as other relevant areas of accounting; deriving requirements in reporting and accounting expectations in deal documents, such as entity agreements, loan documents, and leases, to support financial reporting requirements including, but not limited to, investors, lenders, and regulators; and analyzing financial records to identify and resolve reporting variances while writing effective explanations that describe the root cause of variances.
