Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Associate Attorney. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling initial intakes, conducting legal research, drafting letters, reviewing legal documents and adhering to service standards. Daily tasks also include client consultation, letter drafting, document review, and collaboration with colleagues on various legal matters.

Qualifications

• Legal Research skills
• Experience in reviewing legal documents
• Superior customer service skills
• Client consultation and negotiation skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Active bar membership in MD. Also, VA, DC, NH, MA, RI or NH a plus!
• No history of bar discipline in any jurisdiction.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and web-based platforms

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide superior customer service via telephone and electronic commutations
• Ability to handle high volume of telephone consultation on a variety of legal matters.
• Review of contracts and other legal documents.
• Communicate and/or draft correspondence to third parties to assist in dispute resolution.
• Meet daily goals and compliance requirements, as well as adhere to policies.
