Hours: Full-Time, Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM

Job Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for The Lab Consulting, located in Houston, TX. The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative and clerical tasks. You’ll play an essential role in supporting our team and ensuring smooth operations across various departments. Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Work with office administrators, marketing and HR team on any issues requiring attention for an office of 50+ people
  • Manage daily administrative tasks, such as, maintaining filing system and admin lists (e.g. vendors, employee contact information, etc.)
  • Maintain email distribution lists
  • Monitoring and re-ordering office supplies, receiving and sorting deliveries
  • Taking meeting minutes, documenting follow-ups, and tracking action items
  • Supporting HR with basic recruiting and onboarding tasks for new employees
  • Answering inbound phone calls
  • Greeting and directing office visitors and vendors
  • Maintaining office and office equipment, and scheduling service when needed
  • Ordering office kitchen supplied & water for staff
  • Meeting and calendar coordination
  • Interview scheduling

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or similar role (2-10 years of experience is preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational, file-management, time-management and multitasking skills
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Detail-oriented, discreet, and able to exercise sound judgment with minimal supervision
