Job Description

As a Commercial Lines Property and Casualty Account Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Producer, taking ownership of local and national accounts. Your role entails working with a select group of assigned clients, wherein you will oversee day-to-day operations, foster robust relationships, and deliver an exceptional level of service. Through your dedication to client satisfaction, you will play a pivotal role in sustaining and enhancing ongoing, long-term client relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Stay informed in insurance technical knowledge, market trends, agency automation, company information, and other operating techniques

• Manage ongoing client service relationship

• Maintain open and clear communication channels with clients, insurance carriers, and internal partners

• Develop connections beyond the producer’s relationship with the key decision makers in book of business

• Identify problems, summarize, and develop strategic solutions

• Follow-up with carriers and wholesalers to secure quotations and misc. data by set deadline

• Communicate due dates, timelines, and expectations to clients and partners

• Prepare ACORD Forms and specific marketing applications through communication with producer and prospect/client

• Collect loss history from carriers and prospect/client

• Submit ACORD Form data, specific marketing applications, and loss history information to insurance carriers and wholesalers via email or carrier website/portal

• Follow-up with prospects and clients to secure additional underwriting data or misc. info

• Prepare proposals for new business and client renewals

• Review proposals with prospects and clients by phone or in-person based on client needs

• Monthly or quarterly communication with key referral contacts

• Make sure the client is aware of all resources Bryson offers

Qualifications:

• High level of technical insurance knowledge

• An active California State Property & Casualty License

• Three years of insurance agency customer service experience

• Bachelor’s degree, preferred

• Sound professional and personal judgment

• Polished interpersonal skills

• Ability to work at a fast pace, handle changing priorities, and have the highest level of confidentiality and discretion

• Demonstrate strong prioritization and multitasking skills

• Organized with excellent verbal and communication skills

• Computer proficient with excellent technological skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to easily adopt and work with all software platforms used at Bryson, namely Applied EPIC

• Excellent customer relationship skills, and proven ability to professionally interact with prospects, clients, and vendors
